I typically do not slow down enough to write or read for pleasure on a regular basis but one thing I do is capture life's moments through the lens of a camera. This isn't something I claim to be good at. In fact, photographer doesn't even come to mind when I think of who I am. What does come to mind is I'm the one with the camera journeying through life as a wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend.

8.7.11 - Happy 5th Birthday Jalen

After Jalen was done opening presents he was a little disappointed...
we asked him why and shared that he really wanted a house.  
I guess he had asked Grandma for a house for his birthday.  
As we dug a little further into what he meant we learned that 
he wanted his own house like Auntie A and Uncle Corey.  
Oh boy, we have to cool this boys expectations.
Some day child, when you finish college and
get a good paying job you can buy a house.  
Kids say the darndest things!
