With it being so cold I waited as long as possible to give our little

I'll be there soon...I took a medical T.O. at
week 47 as Baby O was telling me I needed it.
BUT 6 weeks post delivery I'll be back at it and I can't

Poppy Seed Bread
1 pkg yellow cake mix, 1 pkg instant vanilla pudding,
4 eggs, 1/2 cup oil, 1 cup hot water, 2 tbls poppy seed
Bake at 350 for 40-45mins. Makes 2 loaves.
(I'd recommend using less poppy seeds as we felt like
the flavor was too strong)

11.23.11 - Hersey's Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies
You want this recipe...trust me!
What you'll need:
1 cup peanut butter, 1 cup brown sugar, 1 cup white sugar,
2 eggs, 2 sticks butter, 3 cups flour, 1 tsp baking powder,
1 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 Tbsp vanilla,
1 bag of Hershey's mini kisses
What you do:
Cream pb, sugars, eggs, and butter together.
Add vanilla, salt, baking soda, baking powder, and flour.
Stir in kisses. Roll into balls about the size of a golf ball.
Roll in sugar and bake 9-10 min at 350.

11.22.11 - Color By No.
About 6 months ago I was had by a door to door
salesman. He shared a story of working to get
back on his feet and in an effort to learn new skills he
was in this program selling magazines. He ask me if I
believe in giving people a second chance - well of course I do.
And that was that...$54 later I had purchased a magazine
membership for Jalen. Later I learned it comes every other
month for a year. That is almost 10 / issue. Derk of course
gets a chuckle every time it's delivered and Jalen could care
less about it. This time was different, Jalen and I spent the whole
evening working through the magazine. He even did his first
color by number. He was so proud of himself he wanted me to
take a picture. At first he said the picture was for his teacher. Later
he told me it was for God because God watched him color it and
would really like it. Now the question is do we renew
it? Well considering it is only $9.95 for 1 year -
I think it is worth it.
Oh the irony!

I'm a big boy...tonight we watched the boys baby videos.
We pointed out "baby Ty-Ty" and Ty wasn't having any of it.
He made sure to tell us he was a big boy. In addition, he wasn't
happy when he saw Derk hold baby Ty. He would cuddle
in so tight to Derk...it should be interesting
